In a recent article for Insurance Day, Goldberg Segalla’s Jeffrey L. Kingsley helped to explain the impact of the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season on the global insurance market.

“[G]iven the significant losses from Hurricanes Irma and Harvey and the current indebtedness of some programs [like the National Flood Insurance Program], a combination of public/private sector participation is needed,” Jeff told Insurance Day — “perhaps even a subsidy to entice greater private sector participation.”

Jeffrey is co-chair of the firm’s Global Insurance Services Practice Group.
