In an interview with Law360, John M. Whelan discussed joining Goldberg Segalla’s Civil Litigation and Trial group in Orange County.

“I’d been working on my own for quite a while. I decided recently … that the best place for me would be at a firm where I can do the sort of work that I like to do — primarily defense work — work on interesting cases that are a little more substantial than the sorts of cases that I’ve been working on while I was on my own,” John discussed when explaining his transition from operating his own law firm to joining Goldberg Segalla.

John possesses a vast pool of experience with 20 years as a litigator, practicing within the realms of business, civil, and commercial litigation. Further, he is looking forward to using this wealth of knowledge in working with his fellow attorneys within the firm. “I met a few other partners from [the East Coast]. I liked what they had to say, and the type of people they seemed to be and the way they wanted to practice law. It seemed like a very good fit for me.”
