Joseph Hanna Quoted in “Growing Drone Usage Sparks Legal Concerns,” Buffalo Law Journal

As smaller and cheaper versions of unmanned aerial vehicles become more easily available for everyday hobbyists and commercial use, the Federal Aviation Administration and state and local agencies face a greater challenge in regulating their use.

At the forefront of that challenge, noted Goldberg Segalla Business and Commercial Practice Group partner Joseph M. Hanna, is how to balance privacy and security with the benefits of drones.

In an interview with the Buffalo Law Journal, Joe noted he’s seen the FAA and many states making strides as the regulatory framework continues to take shape. This includes an explosion of legislation around the country in an attempt to put more laws on the books and help open the door to further drone use.
