“The war in Iraq may be over, but for the tens of thousands of troops stationed around the world, the reality of life on the front lines has never been more real,” notes the Buffalo Law Journal in this article highlighting the 4 million golf ball milestone reached by Bunkers in Baghdad, the charity begun by Goldberg Segalla partner Joseph M. Hanna. The organization collects and sends new and used golf balls, clubs, and equipment to U.S. troops in 22 countries around the world, with a focus on the brave men and women currently serving in combat zones.

“They remain thousands of miles from home, defending borders, fighting insurgents and protecting global freedom. It is also why Bunkers in Baghdad is fielding more calls, emails and letters for help than ever before in the four-year history of the Buffalo-based charity.”
