Goldberg Segalla’s Joseph M. Hanna made the American Bar Association (ABA) “On the Rise — Top 40 Young Lawyers” list this year, standing out with only 39 others from a competitive crop of over 2,800 nominees nationwide.
The annual ABA “On The Rise — Top 40 Young Lawyers” list
provides national recognition for ABA [Young Lawyer Division] members who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community service,
according to the Association’s website. A selection committee comprising attorneys from both private practice and in-house positions exhaustively reviews nominations to identify the top 40 young lawyers practicing in America.
A commercial litigator and legal advisor to athletes, entertainers, movie studios, and sports franchises, Joe is Chair of Goldberg Segalla’s Sports and Entertainment and Retail and Hospitality Practice Groups, editor of Sports and Entertainment Law Insider , and Chair of the firm’s Diversity Task Force. Already recognized nationally for his work in media and entertainment law and for his leadership efforts in promoting diversity in legal and business communities, Joe is also founder and president of Bunkers in Baghdad, a nonprofit that collects and sends golf equipment to U.S. soldiers and veterans worldwide to aid in recreation and rehabilitation from injuries.
