Joseph M. Hanna, founder and chair of the firm’s Sports and Entertainment Practice Group, commented on the recent unveiling of a federal bipartisan bill that might provide a feasible framework for a nationwide sports gambling industry.

“Although many professional sports leagues were hesitant about the prospects of legalized sports gambling, the Supreme Court’s ruling … has encouraged support for the growing gambling trend and opened up significant revenue potential,” Joe said. “The bottom line is that professional sports leagues are ready to get involved in the sports gambling industry and want to do it across the county, not state-by-state.”
