Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce that Karina B. Clarke has joined the firm as an associate in its Garden City office and as a member of its Workers’ Compensation Practice Group, where she focuses on workers’ compensation defense.

Karina’s experience includes representing clients in all types of workers’ compensation litigation before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. She has attended hearings in all five boroughs of New York City as well as on Long Island and in upstate New York.

While earning her J.D. at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, Karina served as a student attorney representative with SEPA Mujer, where she advocated and submitted petitions to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of clients seeking legal status under the Violence Against Women Act, which allows battered immigrants to petition for legal status. She was also active in her school’s Student Bar Association as well as the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association as its Black Law Student Association Representative, and served as the secretary of Touro Law Center’s Latino American Law Student Association.
