The mission of the ISBA Intellectual Property Section is to enhance the professional capabilities of Illinois lawyers who practice patent, trademark, and copyright law and associated areas concerning trade secrets, unfair competition, and antitrust law. As chair, Kenny will work with members of the section to develop cutting-edge programming that not only focuses on traditional applications of intellectual property, but also data privacy and diversity and inclusion in the practice of intellectual property law. He will also provide guidance to university professionals and content creators on how to best use intellectual property to succeed.
“I am incredibly honored to serve as chair for the Intellectual Property Section,” Kenny said. “Intellectual property fosters creativity, innovation, and growth; all of these qualities are necessary in order to successfully enter and navigate a post-pandemic world.”
