Goldberg Segalla’s Philadelphia office grew with the addition of Kristen J. Coleman in the firm’s Management and Professional Liability group and James M. Andris Jr. in the firm’s Product Liability group.

James and Kristen spoke with Law360 Pulse about joining Goldberg Segalla, discussing what enticed them to make the move and the types of cases they are looking forward to handling. Kristen talked about how she wanted to join a firm that could give her exposure to different types of clients, while James noted that he felt Goldberg Segalla was the best place to transition to the defense side of the table.

“I’m working on matters involving any industry certification,” Kristen said. “I’ve been involved with all phases of litigation, from pleading to trials and everything in between. I’m counseling clients on relevant matters; it’s not just litigation.”

James shared that he was inspired by a member of the firm’s leadership to join the team, noting that Goldberg Segalla partner David S. Osterman reminded him of a judge he clerked for in law school.

“He didn’t try to sell me on an idea,” James said. “Instead, he believes in the firm’s culture. It was extremely refreshing and overall enticing.”
