Sarah J. Delaney, a partner with Goldberg Segalla and a member of the Global Insurance Services practice, spoke with Law360 following the New Jersey Supreme Court’s decision to ban “stranger-originated” life insurance policies.

“If you go in intending to procure the policy for the benefit of third-party investors, and those investors fund it from the beginning, that is a pretty clear-cut example of when a policy would be void ab initio,” Sarah said.
