Experience
As an experienced litigator and partner in Goldberg Segalla’s Defense Base Act & War Hazards Compensation Act practice group, Ashley Anderson brings a meticulous approach to representing government contractors and their insurers facing claims made by civilian employees working abroad under the Defense Base Act, an extension of the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. Ashley’s skill working in this complex area of law includes successfully defending claims before the U.S. Department of Labor judicial and administrative tribunal.
Before joining this team, Ashley was part of a national coordinating counsel team defending an international beauty brand in product liability and toxic tort matters. Her prior legal practice also included representing employers and their insurance carriers in state workers’ compensation claims, as well as defending labor law and personal injury matters in state and federal courts.
Ashley has been recognized for multiple years by both Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America as an outstanding professional based upon her knowledge of the law, professional work ethic, and advocacy on behalf of clients.
