Experience
Hardip B. Passananti is a seasoned trial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience handling complex, high-exposure litigation on behalf of clients in the retail, pharmaceutical, biotech, and software industries as well as multiple government and private-industry investigations. Her experience in product liability cases includes representing clients in asbestos litigation as part of multi-district litigation, managing discovery from document review through taking and defending depositions, and all aspects of trial preparation. In addition to her product liability practice, Hardip has extensive experience practicing patent and trademark law, counseling clients, negotiating and drafting licensing and settlement agreements, handling settlement conferences and arbitrations.
Hardip served for over two years as a deputy district attorney in the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, where she managed misdemeanor criminal prosecutions, conducting felony preliminary hearings and trying misdemeanor cases from vior dire through sentencing.
