Leo Capoferri
Associate
Leo Capoferri counsels and defends clients in civil litigation matters, focusing on the transportation, trucking, and logistics industries. He draws on a background handling all aspects of pretrial litigation for the defense of complex medical malpractice actions, including strategy development, drafting of motions, oral argument, and depositions of fact and expert witnesses. Before joining private practice, Leo served as judicial clerk to the Hon. Amy O’Connor in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
During law school, Leo gained experience as a legal intern at the Impact Litigation Clinic Center for Social Justice and in judicial internships at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, where he wrote research memoranda and drafted motion opinions.
