Experience
Logan R. Arlen dedicates his practice to employment and labor law, counseling public- and private-sector employers on proactive ways to strengthen personnel policies and solve workplace challenges surrounding the hiring, discipline, promotion and discharge of employees. Logan’s experience also includes bringing and defending claims including discrimination, retaliation, violations of the Equal Pay Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act. He is involved in all aspects of the litigation process from inception through trial and appeal.
While earning his J.D. at New York Law School, Logan served as a legal extern in the Labor and Employment Division of the New York City Law Department, working with supervising attorneys on civil litigation regarding a variety of claims, First Amendment whistleblower protection, and challenges to New York City agency actions under Article 78 of New York’s Civil Practice Law and Rules. In addition, Logan worked as a summer associate in the New York City Office of Technology and Innovation where he conducted witness interviews to gather evidence concerning an Equal Employment Opportunity claim and utilized the findings to prepare a legal memo on the investigation. He also held the office of vice president in the school’s Employment and Labor Law Student Association.
