Experience
Marlyne Zakher concentrates her practice on a variety of complex civil litigation matters with a focus on the retail and hospitality sectors. She serves as defense counsel to national manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in premises liability, product liability, personal injury, and other matters. Marlyne is engaged in all stages of litigation from case strategy to settlement, including motions, depositions, mediation, arbitration and trial. Before going into private practice, she represented a leading national insurance company in personal injury protection cases.
While attending the Emory University School of Law, Marlyne gained valuable experience through multiple internships at law firms and government agencies. At the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, she prepared memoranda on legal issues in sex and age discrimination cases. With the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, Marlyne drafted and filed multiple sentencing memorandums for drug conspiracy cases.
