Meena Yoo advocates for insurers in a wide range of coverage matters, including analyzing policy language, developing coverage opinions, and supporting litigation and resolution strategies. As a member of the firm’s Global Insurance Services practice group, she advises insurer clients in navigating disputes in state and federal courts, bringing a practical, business‑focused approach to coverage and claims issues.

Prior to joining Goldberg Segalla, Meena spent six years managing in-house claims for leading global specialty and general insurers. In that capacity, she evaluated coverage issues and managed high-exposure claims and litigation from inception through dispositive motion practice, mediation, negotiated resolution and trial, and worked closely with underwriters, brokers, claims professionals, and outside counsel. Drawing on her carrier-side experience, Meena utilizes valuable, in-depth understanding in claims handling, litigation strategy, and insurer priorities.
