Meghan Brown focuses her practice on civil litigation and trial as well as appellate advocacy, including matters involving personal injury, construction, and professional liability. She serves in a leadership role as a vice chair of the Civil Litigation and Trial practice group, and co-chair of the Appellate group. Meghan represents medical professionals and health care facilities in professional liability claims, and regularly defends therapists, nurses, lawyers and other professionals in matters involving their licensing boards. Delivering thought leadership to both her clients and the legal profession, Meghan lectures on premises liability and appellate procedure, and co-edited a chapter of the New York State Bar Association’s treatise on preparing for and trying the civil lawsuit.

With more than a decade as a civil litigator in private practice, Meghan also draws on experience earned serving for two years as a law clerk at the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department, in Rochester. She has served on the Judiciary Committee for the Bar Association of Erie County and as co-chair of the Access to Justice Committee for the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York at the state level.
