Experience
Miranda L. Bane advocates for clients in all aspects of employment litigation, including discrimination and harassment claims under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act. She also defends matters of unpaid wage, minimum wage, overtime, meal/rest period claims and other claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Drawing on more than six years of experience defending claims against health care providers and residential care facilities, Miranda manages cases from pre-litigation strategy through resolution to achieve the most favorable results for her clients.
While earning her J.D., Miranda served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Laurel S. Beeler of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, and as a law clerk for the Federal Public Defender’s Office in the Northern District of California. After obtaining her law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, Miranda gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making as a law clerk to the Hon. Fernando M. Olguin of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
