Experience
With 20 years of litigation experience – including service as Attorney General and Tribal Prosecutor for the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska – Paul J. Hofmann brings a distinctive perspective to complex civil litigation. He defends businesses, insurers and individuals in a wide variety of matters, including personal injury, motor vehicle, premises liability and medical malpractice claims. An accomplished courtroom advocate, Paul has obtained defense verdicts in significant negligence cases and is adept at guiding clients through every stage of litigation.
Before entering private practice, Paul served in senior legal leadership roles for the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska. He advised tribal leadership, represented the Tribe before governmental entities, negotiated agreements with outside organizations, and prosecuted criminal matters. This experience provides him with a unique understanding of governmental, regulatory, and sovereign interests that informs his approach to complex disputes.
Paul is licensed to practice in New York, Nebraska and Nevada, as well as several federal courts, allowing him to serve clients across a broad geographic footprint.
