An accomplished litigator with 15 years of experience, Anna M. Kohut focuses her practice on toxic and mass tort matters, with an emphasis on asbestos defense. Her broad experience includes representing clients in state and federal court in matters ranging from negligence, environmental, and insurance disputes to contract and financial litigation, consumer protection, and complex product liability cases.

Exceptional at formulating case strategy, securing advantageous settlements, and winning dismissals, Anna serves as national counsel for several clients, coordinating litigation strategy across jurisdictions, in addition to her experience acting as local counsel in Illinois and Missouri for product manufacturers, contractors, distributors, and premises defendants. With previous experience leading complex litigations and class actions on behalf of consumer plaintiffs, Anna offers her clients unique insights that inform strategic decision-making. Her experience also includes drafting and arguing summary judgment and motions in limine, and she is well versed in voir dire, providing extensive juror research and selecting final juror panels.

While a student at Saint Louis University School of Law, Anna worked as a law clerk to Judge Nannette Baker in the Eastern District of Missouri’s Court of Appeals. While serving with Saint Louis University’s Legal Clinic, Anna also successfully argued an appellant’s brief before that court involving employment law.

Throughout her career, Anna has worked to foster cultures of diversity and inclusion within the legal profession and her community, having served on Diversity and Inclusion and Women’s committees. The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity selected Anna for its Fellows Program. Anna has served as co-chair of Perrin’s Women in Law Conference for the last four years.
