Goldberg Segalla added Zachary Young to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group in Princeton.
Zachary represents employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation litigation throughout New Jersey. He handles all stages of the workers’ compensation claims process, from the initial evaluation of a claim through defense preparation, witness and expert depositions and hearings, as well as drafting and negotiating favorable settlements on behalf of Goldberg Segalla clients. Zachary gained valuable experience serving as a legal intern at one of the largest electric companies in the U.S., where he drafted, reviewed and edited litigation documents including complaints and summary judgment briefs and assisted counsel in researching Federal Energy Regulation Commission and New Jersey Board of Public Utilities rules and decisions. Earlier, he worked as a student clinician in the Land Use and Sustainable Development Law Clinic at the West Virginia University College of Law, and worked on patents for the WVU Office of Technology Transfer while interning in the school’s Office of the General Counsel.
Zachary earned his B.S. from West Virginia University and his J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law.
