Goldberg Segalla added Elizabeth K.S. Land to the firm’s Management and Professional Liability practice group in Philadelphia.

Elizabeth counsels and represents licensed professionals in a variety of professional liability matters alleging errors and omissions, negligence, undelivered services and missed deadlines. She draws on her experience litigating complex environmental actions involving contaminants such as PCBs, perchlorate, and PFAS. While pursuing her Juris Doctorate, Elizabeth enhanced her legal skills through various roles in the criminal, immigration, and commercial litigation sectors. As a legal extern to the Defender Association of Philadelphia, she examined witnesses and argued motions at the Juanita Kidd Stout Center for Criminal Justice, successfully defending her clients against felony and misdemeanor charges. As a student attorney with Villanova’s Clinic for Asylum, Refugee and Emigrant Services (CARES), Elizabeth drafted motions and advocated for her clients’ immigration rights. She also gained experience interning with the Hon. Linda Carpenter at the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Elizabeth earned her B.A. from Elon University and her J.D. from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
