Experience
Princeton partner Elizabeth Tomasso has devoted two decades to guiding employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators through the full spectrum of New Jersey workers’ compensation matters. She handles claims from start to finish, appearing at hearings, deposing medical professionals, claimants and employer witnesses, and negotiating and drafting settlement agreements that keep cases moving efficiently toward resolution.
Elizabeth is frequently called upon to prepare settlement evaluation and fraud analysis memoranda, providing clients with clear, practical assessments of risk and exposure. She also has deep experience litigating complex matters involving the Second Injury Fund and Uninsured Employers Fund, with particular focus on disputed medical diagnoses, causation, and coverage issues.
In addition to her workers’ compensation practice, Elizabeth brings a strong general litigation background, including discovery management, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, trial preparation, and jury selection.
