Goldberg Segalla added Andrea Olsen-Leyden to the firm’s Retail and Hospitality practice group in Baltimore.

With nearly a decade of experience handling complex litigation, Andrea focuses her practice on counseling and defending businesses in the retail and hospitality industries in matters including premises liability, personal injury, negligent security, and other civil matters. She partners with shopping center owners and developers, national and multinational retailers, hotel and resort brands, restaurant operators and fitness facilities facing litigation and risk-related challenges. Andrea combines strong litigation experience with a practical understanding of the business considerations that drive decision-making in customer-facing industries. Before joining Goldberg Segalla, Andrea managed multi-jurisdictional litigation matters for Fortune 500 companies across the consumer products, automotive and insurance sectors. Most recently, she served as a staff attorney with the Esperanza Center of Catholic Charities of Baltimore, where she used her English-Spanish bilingual skills to advocate for unaccompanied minors and other vulnerable immigrants.

Andrea earned her B.S. from Florida Gulf Coast University and her J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
