With nearly a decade of experience handling complex litigation, Andrea Olsen-Leyden focuses her practice on counseling and defending businesses in the retail and hospitality industries in matters including premises liability, personal injury, negligent security, and other civil matters. Andrea partners with shopping center owners and developers, national and multinational retailers, hotel and resort brands, restaurant operators and fitness facilities facing litigation and risk-related challenges. She combines strong litigation experience with a practical understanding of the business considerations that drive decision-making in customer-facing industries.

Before joining the firm, Andrea managed multi-jurisdictional litigation matters for Fortune 500 companies across the consumer products, automotive and insurance sectors. Her experience includes developing litigation strategy, drafting dispositive and pretrial motions, preparing legal memoranda, and supporting multimillion-dollar trials through all stages of case preparation.

Most recently, Andrea served as a staff attorney with the Esperanza Center of Catholic Charities of Baltimore, where she used her English-Spanish bilingual skills to advocate for unaccompanied minors and other vulnerable immigrants. She represented clients before federal immigration agencies and courts, conducted case assessments, prepared petitions and asylum applications, and guided clients through complex legal processes. This experience further strengthened her ability to communicate effectively, build trust and advocate for clients facing challenging circumstances.
