Goldberg Segalla added Paul J. Hofmann to the firm’s Civil Litigation and Trial practice group in Albany.
Paul brings a distinct perspective to complex civil litigation based on 20 years of courtroom experience – including serving as Attorney General and Tribal Prosecutor for the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska. He defends businesses, insurers and individuals in a wide variety of matters, including personal injury, motor vehicle, premises liability and medical malpractice claims. An accomplished courtroom advocate, Paul has obtained defense verdicts in significant negligence cases and is adept at guiding clients through every stage of litigation.
Before entering private practice, Paul served in senior legal leadership roles for the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska. He advised tribal leadership, represented the Tribe before governmental entities, negotiated agreements with outside organizations, and prosecuted criminal matters.
Paul earned both a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Indiana University and his J.D. from the Ohio Northern University College of Law.
