Goldberg Segalla added Nicholas M. Minerva to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group in Garden City.

Nick combines extensive trial and litigation experience with a firsthand understanding of both claimant and defense strategies to help insurers, employers and third-party administrators resolve complex workers’ compensation matters throughout New York State. He manages all aspects of workers’ compensation proceedings, including hearings, trials, depositions, summations, appeals, rebuttals, and Section 32 settlements. Nick regularly advises clients on issues involving compensability, medical and legal causation, exposure assessment and suspected insurance fraud, and has achieved favorable outcomes before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board, including in fraud-related matters. He partners with employers and carriers to develop effective litigation strategies, evaluate risk, identify creative paths to resolution, and move claims efficiently toward closure.

Nick earned his B.A. from Molloy College and his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
