Goldberg Segalla added Allison L. ShortAllison L. Short to the firm’s Retail and Hospitality practice group in Orlando.

Allison focuses her practice on defending clients in the retail and hospitality industries in a range of civil litigation matters, including premises liability, personal injury, negligent security, and general liability claims. Drawing on her experience representing insured individuals and insurance carriers in personal injury defense, she partners with shopping center owners, national and multinational retailers, hotel and resort brands, fitness facilities and restaurant operators to develop defense strategies tailored to each client’s objectives. Allison is engaged in all aspects of case handling, conducting legal research, drafting motions and discovery, taking and defending fact, expert and corporate representative depositions, and preparing matters for trial. She works closely with clients to provide case evaluations, litigation updates, and strategic recommendations while delivering responsive, practical counsel throughout the life of a claim.

Allison earned her B.A. from the University of Central Florida and her J.D. from the Florida A&M University College of Law.
