Experience
Sean T. Stadelman focuses his practice on litigating complex civil matters on behalf of transportation companies and product manufacturers. He serves in a leadership role as a vice chair of the firm’s Transportation practice group. Sean regularly collaborates with clients to develop and execute a strategic plan for handling not only individual cases, but also mass torts. His experience includes representing companies in matters in federal multidistrict litigation and in Philadelphia’s Complex Litigation Center. Sean has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including transportation, life sciences, vehicle manufacturing, and consumer and industrial products. Given his background in epidemiology and biostatistics, Sean is often called upon to work with internal and external experts to develop a strategy focused on securing dismissals under Daubert and Frye.

- Represented an international logistics company in a negligence action arising from a trucking accident with one fatality and significant permanent injuries to 12 other people traveling in their church van
- Defended the manufacturer of a denture cream in toxic tort claims in federal multidistrict litigation and Philadelphia’s Mass Tort Program
- Represents a power morcellator manufacturer in single plaintiff actions pending in various jurisdictions around the country
- Defended a multi-national manufacturer of airbag systems in a case where the plaintiff claimed bilateral blindness
- Represented a multinational manufacturer of cement mixer vehicles in a wrongful death case
