Partners Laura A. Colca and Sarah J. Delaney commented on the evolution of technology law for Buffalo Business First. In the article, “Women Make Headway in Technology Law,” Laura and Sarah reveal that they came to technology law after working in other legal sectors, and agree that practicing technology law requires a desire to be constantly learning and keeping up-to-date on new technology.

“When I first started practicing, there was no such thing as technology law,” Sarah said.

“What’s different about this part of the law is it’s very intellectually challenging,” Laura said. “It’s something different every day.”
