Andrew J. Scholz Joins Goldberg Segalla as Special Counsel in White Plains Office

Andrew J. Scholz has joined Goldberg Segalla LLP as special counsel in the firm’s White Plains office. He is a trial lawyer with over 10 years of experience defending companies and individuals in state and federal trial and appellate courts. His practice focuses on mass tort, toxic tort, environmental, products liability, transportation and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Scholz has played a leading role in the discovery phase of a number of multi-defendant, complex litigations.  He has been an active participant in the coordination of legal strategy among coordinating committees and has taken the lead on behalf of multiple co-counsel at critical depositions. Mr. Scholz has tried and arbitrated cases in New York and Washington, D.C.

He currently serves as co-chair of the Toxic Tort Subcommittee within the American Bar Association’s Mass Torts Committee. Mr. Scholz frequently authors articles on mass tort, toxic tort and environmental law issues.

Mr. Scholz received a B.A. from the University of South Florida and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a Richardson Scholar.
