In a nod to her leadership capabilities and ongoing efforts in both advancing women in the legal profession and raising the national profile of its New Jersey office, Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce that partner Caroline J. Berdzik has been named by NJBIZ as one of New Jersey’s 2015 Best 50 Women in Business. Caroline was recently selected for the honor by an independent panel of judges based on her exemplary personal and professional accomplishments, community involvement, and advocacy for women.

As Chair of Goldberg Segalla’s fast-growing Employment and Labor and Health Care groups — each of  each of which now has more than 20 attorneys practicing across the firm’s 11 offices in five states — Caroline leads two of the firm’s most vibrant practices. She is a nationally recognized authority in employment law and health care law and holds leadership or other key positions in legal organizations and associations, as well as in organizations that serve the community in which she lives.

Caroline is widely respected as a role model and mentor for women, both at the firm and within the legal industry. In addition to spearheading firm-wide initiatives to help support the growth of women in legal, management, and administrative contexts, she recently spoke to Law360 for the publication’s “Female Powerbrokers” series about ways women can advance their careers in the field.

NJBIZ, one of New Jersey’s premier publications for business news, and the program sponsors will honor this year’s winners during an awards ceremony on Monday, March 23, 2015. The honorees will also be highlighted in a special supplement to NJBIZ on March 30, 2015.
