Caroline J. Berdzik, a partner in Goldberg Segalla’s Princeton office, has accepted a seat on the firm’s Facilitation Committee. The five-member committee represents the highest level of leadership at Goldberg Segalla, with oversight of the firm’s more than 400 attorneys, all professional and administrative staff, and operations across 21 offices in 10 states.

Caroline joined Goldberg Segalla as a partner in 2012, coming to the firm from a position as in-house counsel at a large national long-term care company. Caroline quickly became a leading member of the Princeton office and a leader in the firm overall, translating her deep experience in employment law, HR issues, and the needs of corporate clients into a position as chair of the firm’s Employment and Labor practice. Under Caroline’s leadership, the Employment and Labor practice grew from a boutique-sized offering into a national team of nearly 50 attorneys, with capabilities across the full spectrum of employment and labor law and significant bench-strength spanning multiple states. In addition, Caroline chairs the Health Care and Long-Term Care practices and co-chairs our Women’s Initiative.

Caroline’s long record of service to the firm has also included advising the Facilitation Committee on critical issues related to state and federal employment law as well as employee safety and wellbeing during the first six months of the pandemic. Now, Caroline shares her distinct skillset and valuable perspective as an elected member. She will continue to maintain an active practice representing public and private clients in a variety of sectors in both high-stakes litigation and day-to-day counseling.
