Five Goldberg Segalla Attorneys Named in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers

Five attorneys in the Philadelphia office of Goldberg Segalla have been listed in the 2012 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers and Rising Stars, a ranking of outstanding lawyers recognized by their peers for their outstanding professional achievement.

Those recognized in Super Lawyers include:

Jonathan S. Ziss, Partner, has significant trial and appellate experience in the state and federal courts as well as before administrative tribunals. Jonathan concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, aviation litigation and professional liability. He is a prolific writer and frequent speaker on topics related to professional risk management, with a focus on CPAs.

Attorneys recognized as Super Lawyers Rising Stars include:

Seth L. Laver, Partner, focuses his practice within business litigation on employment and labor law and professional liability defense, including the representation of lawyers, real estate professionals, and particularly accountants. Within the area of professional liability, Seth has represented many professionals through all stages of litigation beginning with pre-suit consultation up through and including trial.  Within the area of business litigation, Seth represents employers in a variety of litigation matters, including sexual harassment, discrimination, wrongful discharge, and defamation. He counsels employers on recognizing and preventing employment disputes with an emphasis on the early implementation of proper procedures.  Seth has been recognized as a Rising Star for the past three years;

Matthew R. Shindell, Associate, concentrates his practice in the defense of medical malpractice claims against physicians, medical practice groups, hospitals, community clinics and nurses. His practice also focuses on claims involving medical device and product liability.
