Goldberg Segalla Again Named “Tipping the Scales Firm” in 2024
Goldberg Segalla has once again been named a “Tipping the Scales Firm” by the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance. The distinction, designated to only 82 major law firms in 2024, recognizes firms having at least 50% women in their new partner classes.
“We are delighted that Goldberg Segalla is again recognized as a ‘Tipping the Scales Firm,’” said partner Caroline J. Berdzik, member of firm’s management committee and chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative. “Goldberg Segalla remains steadfast in our efforts to ensure our women attorneys are provided with exceptional opportunities to foster professional and personal growth, and this distinction reaffirms our efforts.”
Goldberg Segalla’s Women’s Initiative is a collaborative program developed by, and for, women attorneys to raise their visibility by sparking opportunities, developing mentoring relationships, promoting leadership, increasing connection, and providing support for the advancement of women within the firm.
The Alliance’s New Partner Report is a yearly compilation of data from the nation’s largest law firms that examines the gender breakdown of attorneys promoted to partnership. The data is based upon publicly available firm announcements and other self-reported sources on new partner classes with an effective date of promotion between October 1, 2023, and September 30, 2024.
