Goldberg Segalla Attorneys Appointed to Prestigious ABA Positions

Several Goldberg Segalla attorneys were recently appointed to prestigious leadership positions within the American Bar Association (ABA), a national organization of nearly 400,000 attorneys.

Stacy A. Tees, partner in the firm’s Labor and Employment and Workers’ Compensation Practice Groups, was appointed chair of the ABA TIPS Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Committee. She represents employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in all aspects of workers’ compensation law, and has presented matters before workers’ compensation judges, the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, and the Commonwealth Court.

Marc W. Brown, a partner in Goldberg Segalla’s Business and CommercialGeneral Liability, and Professional Liability Practice Groups, was appointed vice chair of the ABA-TIPS Title Insurance Litigation Committee. In addition, he will chair the Committee’s Long-Range Strategic Planning Subcommittee. Marc’s experience includes litigation pertaining to real property title claims defense and coverage matters, real property tax certiorari proceedings, contractual disputes, personal injury, and collection enforcement.

The one-year appointments began at the 2014 ABA Annual Meeting in Boston and will end on the last day of the 2015 ABA Annual Meeting in Chicago, which runs from July 30 to August 2, 2015.
