Goldberg Segalla Attorneys Recognized in 2015 New Jersey Super Lawyers

Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce that eight attorneys in its dynamic Princeton, NJ office have been selected for inclusion in the 2015 New Jersey edition of Super Lawyers. The publication represents a ranking of outstanding lawyers recognized by their peers for their exceptional professional achievement, with only five percent of the total lawyers in each state named as recipients of the honor.

Caroline J. Berdzik, Robert M. Hanlon, Jr., Anita Hotchkiss, and David S. Osterman were all named as Super Lawyers in New Jersey, the selection process for which includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. This year’s listing marks the 11th consecutive edition for Anita, who earned the New Jersey Law Journal’s Lifetime Achievement Award earlier this year in recognition of the significant impact she has made on the practice of law and the defense of complex pharmaceutical, medical device, and other products liability cases. It’s also the 11th consecutive listing for Dave, a certified Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey who has tried dozens of cases to verdict.

For Robert, a prolific teacher of trial advocacy who sits on the National Board of Directors of the American Board of Trial Advocates, 2015 is the third consecutive year he has been a Super Lawyer. After being named to its Rising Stars list from 2006-2009 and again in 2013, Caroline was named a Super Lawyer in 2015; other recent accolades include being named by NJBIZ as one of the state’s “Best 50 Women in Business.”

Christopher P. Midura, a product liability attorney who has experience in the state and federal courts of New Jersey at both the trial and appellate levels, is listed as a Rising Star for the second consecutive year. Three other Goldberg Segalla attorneys in Princeton have been named Rising Stars this year for the first time: Michael S. Katzen, John M. McConnell, and Esther F. Omoloyin.

Mike’s practice focuses on defending employers in employment litigation matters brought in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York, as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums. John represents Fortune 500 companies and small businesses in matters involving product liability, civil rights, premises liability, construction, and premises security. With significant trial experience, Esther’s practice focuses on workers’ compensation defense, where she represents numerous public and private entities in a wide range of matters. She appears in every workers’ compensation vicinage in the State of New Jersey.
