Experience
As co-chair of Goldberg Segalla’s national Workers’ Compensation practice, Esther F. Omoloyin has been instrumental in growing the group into a national leader in workers’ compensation defense, both in terms of the bench depth of our attorneys and the breadth of clients we serve. She is a trusted advisor to numerous national and international employers, including retailers, logistics companies, health care providers, food services, PEOs, and municipalities in matters involving the full range of worksite accident and occupational disease claims. Esther has a proven track record handling and litigating matters in every workers’ compensation vicinage in New Jersey, including through trial, and she has successfully investigated and litigated many workers’ compensation fraud claims. She works personally with each client to understand their unique perspective and needs, studies the details of each case to get to the truth, and moves efficiently to provide key information, recommendations, and direction. When appropriate, Esther focuses on the quick resolution of a claim, knowing that—for many clients—a closed claim is the best claim.
Esther is part of the Goldberg Segalla team that takes a holistic approach to defending workers’ compensation clients. The team’s practice model, in which each file stays with the same attorney through the entire litigation process, is created to maximize consistency, efficiency, and long-term savings for clients beyond the closure of the immediate matter.
Esther is active in sharing thought leadership on workers’ compensation matters by conducting webinars, moderating, and presenting at various industry functions. She is known within the field as the author of the firm’s New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Manual, a valued resource for both employers and carriers. The New Jersey Law Journal recognized Esther as a New Leader of the Bar in 2021 and a New Jersey Trailblazer in 2019, and she has been named to the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars list every year since 2015.
An active member of Goldberg Segalla’s Diversity Task Force, Esther joins a group of dedicated attorneys who create and implement diversity programs and serve as a voice for change throughout the firm through real-time implementation. She’s also active in the firm’s Women’s Initiative mentoring program.
