Goldberg Segalla Construction Team Contributes to NYSBA Construction Site Personal Injury Litigation, Third Edition

Members of Goldberg Segalla’s Construction group contributed to the third edition of the New York State Bar Association’s Construction Site Personal Injury Litigation to cover all aspects of claims brought under New York Labor Law §§ 200, 240(1), and 241(6).

In the third edition, Goldberg Segalla’s Theodore W. Ucinski III, Kelly A. McGee, Thomas F. Segalla, Kenneth M. Alweis, Michael Rubin, Derek M. Zisser, Sarah J. Delaney, William T. O’Connell, Kelly C. O’Connor, Ashley K. Boisvert, Stefan Borovina, and Kathleen M. Murphy examined traditional concepts and analyzed the changes that have occurred over the past few years in New York’s Labor Law, as well as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on relevant statutory sections.

The publication covers a variety of topics, including pleading and proving the necessary elements of a cause of action, construction accident investigation and discovery, recent key appellate case summaries, and more. There is also a new chapter covering OSHA inspections and enforcement actions, including employer requirements, guidance for COVID-19 precautions, and the impact of OSHA violations on civil litigation.
