Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Alexandra Y. Bystritskaya

Goldberg Segalla added Alexandra Y. Bystritskaya to the firm’s Civil Litigation and Trial group in White Plains.

Alexandra focuses her practice on a range of personal injury, premises liability, toxic tort, and construction matters. Her experience includes handling comprehensive case work-up, including discovery and investigation, depositions and court appearances, motion practice, discovery, and trials. She has appeared in courts throughout New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Rockland, Westchester, and Dutchess counties, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Alexandra enjoyed a career as a classical pianist. She played for the Moscow State Philharmonic Society as a recital pianist. After moving to the U.S., she became assistant music director and recital pianist for the Bronx Opera Company, and taught at the Staten Island Conservatory of Music.

Alexandra earned her bachelor’s degree from the Moscow State Conservatory and her juris doctor from the Brooklyn Law School. During law school, she gained experience as an intern in the Office of General Counsel at the New York City Department of Probation.
