Goldberg Segalla added Bruce M. Engel as a partner in the firm’s Global Insurance Services group in Chicago.

Bruce focuses his practice on a wide range of complex insurance and reinsurance litigation, arbitrations, mediations, and coverage analysis. With more than 35 years of experience representing insurers and reinsurers worldwide, he has been lead counsel on cases involving insurance coverage for environmental, coal ash, lead paint, product liability, asbestos, and pharmaceuticals, as well as professional liability matters. Bruce regularly represents parties in multimillion-dollar arbitrations involving reinsurance claims and underwriting disputes such as misrepresentation, allocation, late notice, and coverage for expenses, and application of follow the fortunes.

Bruce earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.
