Goldberg Segalla added Carlos E. Mojica to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group in Orange County.
Carlos counsels and defends employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. He is engaged in each stage of the claims process from inception of a file through resolution, including conducting depositions, settlement negotiations, mediations, and preparation of petitions and motions. Carlos draws on his experience serving as a legal fellow with a California non-profit organization, providing direct client representation for immigration-related matters in front of U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services and the Executive Office for Immigration Review. While pursuing his juris doctorate, he gained critical skills as a law clerk in private practice, conducting research and drafting documents and filings for ongoing transactional and litigation matters in practice areas such as employment, commercial finance, landlord-tenant disputes, and corporate matters.
Carlos earned his B.A. from Yale University and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
