Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Chelsea D. Townsend
Goldberg Segalla added Chelsea D. Townsend to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation group in Raleigh.
Chelsea focuses her practice on assisting employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in all stages of workers’ compensation litigation, from intake through trial and appeal. Prior to joining Goldberg Segalla, she gained experience as a Certified Contract Advisor for the NFL Players Association, and as legal compliance manager for the Amateur Athletic Union.
Chelsea earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and her juris doctor at the Elon University School of Law. While attending law school, she served as a resident-in-practice for the Wake County Public Defender’s Office in Raleigh, providing support to assistant public defenders in defense of felonies and misdemeanors in district and superior courts.
