Goldberg Segalla added Christian E. Lopez to the firm’s Product Liability practice group in Chicago.

Christian is a trial attorney who represents manufacturers and other businesses in complex product liability, commercial liability, and personal injury matters in Illinois state and federal courts. His practice focuses on defending clients through all phases of litigation. With the understanding that each client and case is unique, he evaluates liability exposure, develops case strategy, and provides counsel on dispositive motion practice, settlement, and trial. Drawing on significant courtroom experience, Christian has secured favorable outcomes in high-exposure matters, including obtaining complete defense verdicts in cases involving millions in claimed damages. Before entering private practice, he served as an assistant state’s attorney with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he tried hundreds of cases, first-chaired numerous jury trials to verdict, and supervised assistant state’s attorneys in one of the county’s busiest courtrooms.

Christian earned his B.S. from DePaul University and his J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law.
