Goldberg Segalla added Christopher A. Diaz to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation group in Newark.

Chris has more than 20 years of experience counseling and defending insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators in a variety of workers’ compensation matters. He has extensive experience overseeing claims across the state of New Jersey, as well as handling case assessments, settlement recommendations, claims reviews, and client relations meetings. In addition to his years in private practice, Chris draws on experience as in-house counsel for two major insurance companies, where he was responsible for assessing all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from inception to closure. He has also conducted numerous client education and informational seminars addressing issues such as the defense of occupational claims in New Jersey and wage reconstruction.

Chris earned his bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University and his juris doctor from the Rutgers University School of Law.
