Goldberg Segalla added Douglas B. Gale to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation group in Orange County.

Doug concentrates his practice on counseling insurers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators in claims-handling strategy and the defense of workers’ compensation claims. He draws on extensive experience as house counsel for a leading U.S. insurance carrier, managing all facets of workers’ compensation litigation including conducting depositions of applicants, primary treating physicians, and qualified medical examiners, as well as defending claims through trial. With additional experience as an examiner and unit supervisor, Doug has a unique perspective and understanding of his clients’ business considerations, including compliance, litigation, and settlement strategy.

Doug earned his bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
