Goldberg Segalla added Emily Knight to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group in Philadelphia.

Emily counsels and defends employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters throughout Pennsylvania. Involved in every stage of the litigation process from inception through resolution, she conducts depositions, settlement negotiations, and preparation of petitions and motions. Emily draws on experienced gained while serving as assistant district attorney in the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled a diverse caseload of criminal cases from preliminary hearings through sentencing hearings. Working with the Special Victims Unit, she succeeded in achieving guilty verdicts in several trials.

Emily earned her B.A. from Auburn University and her J.D. from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
