Goldberg Segalla added Jacklyn M. Penna to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation group in Rochester.

Jackie has dedicated more than 26 years to counseling and defending employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in complex workers’ compensation claims throughout New York. She regularly appears before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board and manages every aspect of claims from start to finish – conducting legal research, preparing motions, appeals and memoranda of law, and presenting oral argument before the Appellate Division, Third Department, and the New York State Court of Appeals. Drawing on her extensive experience, Jackie authored a chapter in the New York State Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Law and Practice in New York. She is also an adjunct professor, teaching in the Paralegal/Criminal Law program at Monroe Community College.

Jackie earned her B.A. from Ithaca College and her J.D. from the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law.
