Goldberg Segalla added Jeffrey C. Shih to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group in Orange County.

Jeff has dedicated his practice to workers’ compensation law for more than a decade, advising employers, insurers and third-party administrators and representing their interests before the California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and other venues statewide. He handles every stage of a claim from case opening through resolution, including law and motion, mandatory settlement conferences, trials, and compensation lien issues.

In addition to his work in private practice, Jeff served as corporate counsel for one of the nation’s leading workers’ compensation insurance carriers. In that role, he collaborated with claims adjusters to develop effective defense strategies and trained new adjusters on best practices for managing workers’ compensation claims.

Jeff earned his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
