Goldberg Segalla added special counsel Kevin J. Bryant and associate Gavin C. Fields to the firm’s General Liability and Trucking and Automotive groups in Garden City.

Kevin J. Bryant, joining Goldberg Segalla’s General Liability practice, is a litigator and trial attorney with experience trying and mediating numerous cases throughout the counties of New York City and Long Island, as well as appellate briefing and oral argument before New York’s First and Second Judicial Departments. He focuses on defending clients in complex, high-exposure matters involving construction accidents and New York State Labor Law claims, Dram Shop actions, product liability, professional liability, premises liability, property damage cases, trucking and motor vehicle cases, and federal civil rights claims. His clients include property owners and developers, contractors, trucking and logistics companies, architects and engineers, dentists and pharmacists, and other businesses and professionals. Before entering private practice, Kevin spent three years as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York. He earned his J.D. at St. John’s University School of Law and earned his B.S. at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Gavin C. Fields, joining both the Trucking and General Liability groups, focuses his practice on counseling and defending a variety of businesses, including major trucking and logistics companies, in motor vehicle- and trucking-related personal injury claims, as well as premises liability and New York State Labor Law claims, from inception through trial. Gavin earned his J.D. at St. John’s University School of Law, where he was a member of the New York International Law Review and served as both Historian and Treasurer of the Black Law Students Association. Prior to law school, Gavin attended Georgetown University and obtained a B.A. in Government and History.
